Irvine, Calif. - Monday, March 28, 2005 - Blizzard Entertainment® today announced their plans to debut World of Warcraft®: Northrend™ the first expansion to World of Warcraft®, its award winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The expanion will add new player races, a new faction and a whole new continent for players to explore.
"We are very excited about this." said Mike Morhaime, president of Blizzard Entertainment. "World of WarCraft has been a tremendous worldwide success and we look forward to giving our customers much more content to explore. The expansion will further the game's storyline in conjunction with free content that Blizzard plans to release in the coming months."
The expansion will be aimed largely at higher level players, and will involve a higher level cap, bigger and larger dungeons both inside and outside in Northrend and elsewhere, and many new items and quests. Blizzard is also expected to announce that the game's graphic engine has been further enhanced as planned to keep World of WarCraft in line with the latest technology.
After its debut at E3, World of Warcraft®: Northrend™ is expected to go into beta testing over the summer and be released in late 2005.

Банальная нежить, под предводительством Артаса. Ведь это логично - в варе3 тфт он слился с Нер'Зулом и это, как вы помните, происходило на Northrend'e

На счет шутки не знаю, но об этом эд-доне говорили еще в бетте WoWa. War3 The frozen throne знае те ли=)

а кто о нём говорил то??? не помню чтобы близард, говорили игроки, как и сейчас, а шутка эта была ещё на двух форумах как минимом, не буду давать рекламу, именно как шутка.

Ну предположить добавление Нортренда в аддоне вполне логично - ведь его нет на карте WoW, хотя он там должен быть

Ну да, напрямую Близзы е обьявляли пока Нотренд. Но было одно интервью (сейчас лень искать), где у представителя Близзард спросили: "Какой самый сильный герой в WoW?", а тот и говорит: "Артас". Ему говорят: "Так его же нет в игре!", — а он : "Будет!".

Если аддона до НГ не будет то, имхо, хай-лвл плееры начнут валить из ВоВа, уж больно пока там однообразный геймплей.
